The Hildir Sweater is worked from the bottom up. The body is knitted in the round on circular needles until the armholes. The work is then divided into back and front, which are worked flat separately. The neckline is shaped on the front piece before the shoulders are grafted together. Stitches are picked up around the armholes, and the sleeves are worked from the top down. Finally, a high ribbed turtleneck is knitted around the neck opening and folded double.

Kos from Sandnes Yarn: 62% alpakka, 29% nylon og 9% wool

New – Light Yellow with sea foam edge: This version of Hildir is defined by its distinctive sea foam edge, knitted in Light Yellow with Sjokolade as the contrast colour. Worked entirely in Puno from Rauma Yarn.
