Jolie Poncho

Jolie Poncho knitting pattern by Milotté. Available in English, Norwegian, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Swedish and Danish.

Jolie Poncho is worked top down. First, a high ribbed collar is worked and folded double. The work is then continued in the round in stockinette stitch, with a textured pattern centered at the front and back. Increases are worked evenly on every other round on each side of the chart. This shapes the poncho and creates a natural, elegant drape over the shoulders. The piece is finished with a ribbing hem in garter stitch. Alternatively, you may add fringes for a bolder look.

Needles: Circular needle 3.5 mm (40 cm) and circular needle 4 mm (40 and 80 cm). Crochet hook if you want fringes.

Gauge: 4 mm needle: 20 sts = 10 cm.
