Jolie Poncho Yarn Kit with Fringes

Jolie Poncho is worked top down. First, a high ribbed collar is worked and folded double. The work is then continued in the round in stockinette stitch, with a textured pattern centered at the front and back. Increases are worked evenly on every other round on each side of the chart. This shapes the poncho and creates a natural, elegant drape over the shoulders. The piece is finished with a ribbing hem in garter stitch. The fringes are attached along the hem at the end.

350 (350) 350 (350) 400 (400) g Mitu from Rauma or Alpakka Ull from Sandnes Garn, together with 75 (75) 100 (100) 100 (125) g Tynn Silk Mohair from Sandnes Garn.

Fringes: 50 g for XS–M and 100 g for L–2XL in the main yarn.

Needles: Circular needle 3.5 mm (40 cm) and circular needle 4 mm (40 and 80 cm), plus a crochet hook for the fringes.

The poncho in the photos is worked in size S in Rauma Mitu in Natur (SFN10) held together with Tynn Silk Mohair in Mandel (2511). The Midnight Blue poncho is worked in size S in Alpakka Ull 6081 held together with Tynn Silk Mohair 6081. The collar is worked to 15 cm.
