Marie Cardi (English and Norwegian) - Beginner-friendly knitting pattern by Milotte
Marie Cardi is worked from the bottom up. The cardigan is knitted back and forth with front edges on 7 mm needles, combined with sections of reverse stockinette using 12 mm needles to create contrast stripes. The body is worked in one piece up to the underarms, then divided into back and fronts. The fronts are shaped with decreases for the V-neck, and the shoulders are joined using the Kitchener stitch. The sleeves are knitted separately and sewn on at the end.
